Tuners, traders, owners and racers with a passion for Japanese cars are being targeted by a new online social network.

JDMLegion.com was released this week and features a range of tools aimed at those involved with Japanese Domestic Market cars.

The new, free to use website is the brainchild of JDM enthusiasts John Player and Rob Green.

“We were very aware that forums, while still very useful lacked the user experience of more modern web communications and social platforms,” they explained.

They added: “We won't push a certain brand of tyre or turbo onto you – there is no brand favouritism here.”

The site is designed is a place for the entire JDM community to meet, discuss and share media.

It includes an events calendar to make it easy to set up and promote upcoming events and gives the event organiser a real view of the attendees they can expect.

It also allows reminders to be set for when a user’s MOT, tax or insurance renewal is due.
