SABER AUTO SPARES ACQUIRED BY ALLIANCE

Birmingham-based car parts and accessory shop Saber Auto Spares has been acquired by Alliance Automotive UK. The store was an existing GroupAuto member.

Started in 1988 by Phil and Jennifer Sabell, the firm changed its registered name to Auto Brake and Ignition Services between 1995 and 2011, before reverting to the original sign. Although the store occupies a retail premises on a parade of shops, it also supplies the trade.

The acquisition is the third business bought by AAUK in 2020, with the others being Millgate Motor Factors and Jim Barker Motor Factors
