Buying group, IFA has announced the appointment of Steve Jones as Commercial Manager in its CV Division with immediate effect.

Jones has worked in the CV aftermarket for over 32 years, beginning in 1989 with TTC, where he gained experience in a number of roles including customer service, marketing and technical sales, before moving to axle, braking and suspension supplier Meritor. He worked for Brigade Electronics for a number of years where he held responsibility for the UK Truck OES programs, major wholesalers and a number of European distributors.

Latterly he has been with ECCO Safety Group as Head of Business Development for UK & Ireland and First Line in Banbury as Head of Commercial Vehicle, responsible for the development of the Borg & Beck CV proposition.
Steve said on taking up his new role: "I am really looking forward to working with all the CV members at such an exciting time in the group’s growth and meeting new and old supplier partners in the coming months."
