The seventeen-strong Motormania chain and Midland Car Parts have been put into administration.
Grant Thornton has been appointed as the administrators for the two companies which traded under Richard C Hartley Limited. The 25-year-old business employs 92 people across its sites.
David Bennett of Grant Thornton said: “Motormania and Midland Car Parts are long-established businesses with a strong reputation in the market place. We are continuing to trade the businesses with a view to selling them as going concerns and are currently in discussions with a number of interested parties.â€
