Vauxhall Insignia In Production 2008–2013

Suspension

Front wheel drive models are equipped with 4-link rear suspension incorporating progressive rate, taper wire Miniblock springs. All 4x4 versions are equipped with what Vauxhall refer to as “H-Arm” rear suspension and more conventional, single pigtail springs. But the complexity doesn’t stop there. Vehicles fitted with Vauxhall’s “FlexRide” electronic chassis control option, factory sports suspension and all “EcoFlex” models, require special springs front and rear so mechanics should check whether these options are fitted before ordering replacements.
