Alternator wrong, missing, loosened components MINI One (R56)

Fault symptoms: Assembly error - Alternator electrical cable

Causes: Tightening torque incorrect.

Remedy: Correct tightening torque.

Procedure

• Disconnect battery.
• Unscrew nut(s). (1) Tighten nut(s).
• Correct tightening torque.

Earth cable(s). Damage, wrong, missing, loosened components MINI One (R56)

Fault symptoms: Damaged ground cable in engine compartment Damages to paintwork in the area of the ground lead.

Causes: Assembly error

Remedy: Wrap electric line(s) with adhesive tape. Affix protective sticker.
