Bad starting long crank period no fault codes – fuel pump control module failure, located in the boot area o/s/r.

Central locking, electric windows, remote locking and steering lock intermittent fault – multifunction control module 1(located behind the lower dash facia o/s/f) poor connections causing high resistance .
2006 E61 5 Series
Rear tailgate wash/wipe inoperative – tailgate wiring loom damaged and corroded between rear roof and tailgate near to the n/s tailgate hinge, repair or a modified wiring loom is available.
2005-2010 5 Series with Auto Transmission – erratic operation of gear selection, software updates for the transmission gear selector control module can eradicate this issue.
2005-2010 5 Series with park distance aid – park aid system inoperative, water ingress into the park aid control module located in the load space area.
