Vehicle breaker and re-marketer Hills Motors has been acquired by Copart.
The deal, terms of which have not been made public, include Hills' main 25-acre site in Skelmersdale, a recently acquired yard in Scotland and a parts hub in Gloucestershire. The transaction also includes all assets, such as vehicles, cranes and specialist technology systems.

In addition, the deal included Hill's 'The Green Parts Specialist' brand, which Copart plans to keep and leverage. The existing management team, headed by Ian Hill will remain in place.
