FIL FILTER TO JOIN OESAA

Filtration brand Fil Filter is to join OESAA, the Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association in the UK.

It becomes the 15th member currently in the group, not counting sub-brands. Other members include Schaeffler, Hella, Denso and ZF.

Established in 1966, Fil Filter is Turkey’s largest filtration manufacturer and has grown its portfolio of OE partners over the last five decades. In 2019, it opened offices and a distribution centre in the UK – formally launching at Automechanika Birmingham.

Upon joining the membership, Fil Filter UK Sales & Marketing Manager, Sean Barnie, said: “The demand for quality and best practice in the UK aligns with the ethos of Fil Filter, so a partnership with an organisation, such as OESAA, is a fitting match.

OESAA Chair, Nigel Morgan expressed delight at the new member. “Fil Filter is a brand that continues to go from strength-to-strength in the UK and one that I know is proud of its OE pedigree.” he said.

OESAA was started as a way for suppliers with OE contracts to communicate what they saw as the difference between their parts, and parts labelled ‘matching quality’. Since establishment it has maintained around the same number of members, although various companies have come and gone over the years.
