CTEK SIGNS DEAL WITH EVC TO PROVIDE UK CHARGING POINTS

Battery charger brand CTEK has signed a five-year deal with charge point provider EVC to supply EV charging equipment, scalable load balancing solutions and associated EV management software. The tech supplied by the Sweden charging company will be based around  its Chargestorm Connected wallbox, supported by the firm's  'Nanogrid' load-balancing hardware.

The announcement comes just a day after the UK government announced plans to scale up plans to reduce energy consumption, which include bringing forward the date for ending the new registration of petrol and diesel cars to 2030.
