CSF event opens Waltham Abbey branch

The newest branch of regional chain Car Spares Factors held an open evening on Thursday 29th September, ahead of the official opening this morning (Friday).

Dozens of suppliers came to support the event held at the store in Waltham Abbey, Essex. Visiting garages were able to enjoy free food and drink as well as participate in a raffle which had a variety of prizes up for grabs, including a huge 55” TV.

As CSF is a member of the Rapid buying group, brands that were showing their wares included Meyle, NGK, Herth+Buss and Klarius. Reps from Moove Lubricants were showing the rebooted Duckhams brand (which is only sold through members of the Rapid buying group) and EV training firm Pro-Moto were also on hand to talk to workshops interested in their programme.

CSF Director Sanjiv Shah was optimistic about the opening. “The main things are having stock on the shelf, being able to deliver parts quickly and making sure that parts are right first time. If we can do that, we will win over a lot of customers”.

CSF was founded in the 1970s and the Waltham Abbey branch is the sixth in the chain. Shah said he was keen to open further branches if the right sites can be found.
