Alliance Automotive makes a brace of factor acquisitions

Alliance Automotive Group UK has announced that it has recently completed the acquisition Select Automotive Supplies Ltd; an existing UAN member.

SAS (not to be confused with other businesses with similar names) is a single branch LV business based in Manchester with sales of c£1.0m and seven employees.  It was run by Roy and Karen Upton and had been founded in 1996.

A few days prior, AAG confirmed that it had taken over Carbits Ltd; which had been a long-term Groupauto member.

Carbits, again, not to be confused with businesses of  similar names, is a single branch LV business based in Birmingham of a similar size to SAS, also with sales of c£1.0m and seven employees.  Companies House filings show that the company was incorporated in 1978 by the Gallagher family before being taken over by the Chall family and Narrinder Singh in 2007.
