Workwear and equipment firm Involution acquires Print.Inc

Equipment, printing and workwear provider Involution has acquired the Print.Inc brand and its assets.

Involution, founded in 1999, says the purchase  is part of a move to deliver faster, more flexible and innovative solutions for aftermarket brands, distributors and workshops.

A key reason for the acquisition, says Involution, is that Print.Inc is already a well-established print provider and has forecast a turnover in excess of £4 million for 2025.

The move significantly increases Involution’s production capability and turnaround speed, it says, while also bringing in over 200 new products.

Involution’s business development director Tim Rahill said: “The acquisition of Print.Inc marks a significant strategic step for Involution, building on our continued growth in the aftermarket.

“It represents a real step forward for our customers, who will access a wide range of additional services and by dealing directly with Involution as the manufacturer they will benefit from innovation and cost effectiveness that is not possible by dealing with middlemen.”

By expanding the range of products produced in-house, Involution says it can lower prices, shorten lead times and maximise flexibility in order size and customisation.

Michael Ainsworth, managing director of Involution, said: “Since founding Involution, we have always focused on growth through innovation, service and investment. The acquisition of Print.Inc is an exciting step that strengthens our manufacturing capabilities and gives our automotive customers faster, more flexible and more cost-effective solutions than ever before.”
