Valeo replaces paper instructions with QR codes

Supplier Valeo Service UK has stopped providing paper instructions with its parts, replacing them with printed QR codes.

The codes direct users to a website with up-to-date information and instructions for the components in question, with additional support including answers to frequently asked questions and video tutorials.

The online platform is available in 20 languages and can be accessed on all smart mobile devices.

“This change is really about making life easier for technicians,” said Andy Swann, managing director for Valeo Service UK. “Instead of rummaging around for missing leaflets or wondering if the instructions are up to date, you just scan the code and everything’s there, straight on your phone or tablet.”
