ZF Aftermarket has launched a new range of window regulators under its Lemförder brand in a bid to ensure the long-term repairability of older cars in Europe.
The 1600 new part numbers cover cars, commercial vehicles and buses, and are said to be manufactured to OE specifications. This, said ZF, means they "present no difficulties for workshops".
They comprise manual and electric drives, Bowden, dual-Bowden, scissor or cable mechanisms, standard or comfort electrics and motors with two or four pins plus a control unit.
ZF said the new range means "practically all vehicles in the European market" can now be repaired.
