Hella launches complete brakes range in UK

Hella has launched its range of brakes into the UK aftermarket, marking a significant expansion for the brand after more than a decade in Europe.

The lineup is described as a "true one-stop braking solution", says Hella. It includes calipers, drums and shoes, master and wheel cylinders, and wear indicators as well as electronics such as brake-by-wire pedals and ABS sensors

“For the last decade I have seen the success that Hella have had across Europe with our complete braking solution,” said Neil Grant, Hella UK managing director. “I am, therefore, delighted that we are finally able to bring the complete product portfolio to the UK Aftermarket. We know that with our proven quality and competitive price point, we will see early success with those who want to be first to market to offer something new and different.”

Hella brake pads are engineered to OE standards, using over 200 friction material components. They are constructed with powder-coated steel backplates and high-shear adhesive, they feature application-specific chamfers and noise grooves to ensure quiet, consistent braking.

Brake discs are also built to OE standards, using high carbon content for enhanced heat dissipation and reduced brake fade where required. A water-based coating protects against corrosion and removes the need for cleaning before fitment, saving time on installation. All discs carry ECE R90 approval, confirming their safety and integrity.

With some 6000 part numbers already available in the UK, Hella says it will continue to expand its offer to in excess of 9000 references.

Hella will showcase its new range at Automechanika Birmingham from June 3-5 .
