Delphi launches Tesla servicing course

Delphi has launched a service and maintenance training course for Teslas, in response to the dramatic rise in the number of the brand's cars set to enter the aftermarket.

"There are 85,000 additional Teslas entering the aftermarket within the next two years," said Luke Garratt, Delphi's UK technical services manager.

Indeed, the Tesla Model Y was the UK's best-selling electric car last year, clocking 35,899 registrations.

The course teachers how to engage Tesla's service mode, how to perform air conditioning, battery, brake work, tyre replacement, wheel alignment and advanced driver assistance system calibration.

The next running of the course takes place on 10 November.
